Tárgyleírás:
This course gives an introduction to data-based and agent-based modelling, based on examples of application. Most of these examples are based the instructors’ own previous research experience.
Data-based modelling:
Principles, aim, accuracy, assessment of reliability. Data exploration, filtering, transformation. Modeling by advanced maximum likelihood methods, optimization techniques.
Agent-based modeling:
Principles, aim, validation. Examples include, minority games, biological (flocking, ant colony, etc.), economical (minority games, stock market, etc.), social (opinion, segregation, etc.) and game theory problems.
