Course Info, 2022 Fall Semester

 

The goal of this course is to familiarize students with contemporary theoretical physics. Attendance of the seminar series of the Departmentf of Theoretical Physics, or those of the individual research groups of the Department, is required. We recommend it primarily to students doing thesis work at the Department of Theoretical Physics.

Location: Seminar room of the department, first floor F.III.

Topics: Various topics from contemporary theoretical and experimental physics

First seminar: Sep 9 Friday, 2022

Requirements:

Attendance: At least 10 seminar talks per semester. Verified by the coordinator of the course (János Asbóth).

Grading: Either giving a talk (25 minutes) or writing an essay (6 to 10 pages) about the subject of one of the seminar talks attended. Deadline: Dec 19 Monday, 2022.
